Fair Trade plot

Walter Wilson and Robin De Rover once started their careers in the police force with great commitment and noble ideals, but too often saw months of intensive and dangerous investigative work lost due to what they considered irrelevant procedural errors, the tricks of expensive lawyers and dubious decisions by unworldly judges. . They increasingly color outside the lines during their patrols: for example, they tip criminals about future police actions and are heavily paid for it. Wilson is also prone to addiction (women, drink, drugs…) and that makes him unpredictable. When he is suspended from the police after repeated conflicts, he seeks even more rapprochement with the criminal environment, but is meanwhile tipsy wild.

For fans of Matroesjka's, this is a must. It is therefore from the same makers and a lot of actors are also participating again. Just a pity that they have almost the same role, In general okay, but also not that special.

It starts off well, but then it goes downhill. You can safely trust such a Peter van den Begin or Kevin Janssens with these kinds of roles, but Ella-June Henrard misses the mark as a tough cop. Not to mention Jeroen Perceval, who portrays just about the most idiotic character in recent Flemish TV history. From the introduction of that Martino character, the fun quickly wears off.

A kind of over-year sequel to Matryoshka's, which, as Esteban indicated above, lacks direction. A farce that takes itself more and more seriously, resulting in a bland decoction.

Great series that I regularly laughed at. Perfectly written by Peter van den Begin and Sven De Ridder. I found the Antwerp dialect a bit odd because they usually start their sentences well, but then suddenly throw in a more refined word, making the dialect fall flat. Strange, because many actors are from Antwerp and should hear this. Peter Van De Velde's dialect was the best.
