The Silent Thief plot
Brennan Marley is a lounging outcast. When their biological son Mike is in college, Brennan threatens to seriously disrupt the unity of the Henderson family by taking his place. He craves acceptance and hopes to be considered exceptionally handsome. Under false pretenses, he manages to become a guest at the family's beach house. A so-called orphan from England, he is endeared to every member of the family.
