La Traversée plot

While on vacation on a Scottish island, 8-year-old Lola Arendt disappears. Her parents Sarah and Martin are so devastated by this that a divorce is inevitable. Two years later, Lola is found in exactly the same place. Martin returns to the island to bring her home. However, his joy at meeting Lola quickly turns to mistrust and fear. After all, Lola doesn't say a word and strange people keep an eye on them. This raises questions about what Sarah has to do with the disappearance and who the beautiful but mysterious Norah Kross is. Bad weather prevents them from leaving and the three of them - Sarah, Martin and Lola - cross the island...
