Naughty Marietta plot

For the beautiful, sophisticated French princess Marie de Namours de la Bonfain, true love is more important than a title of nobility. On the eve of her arranged marriage to a Spanish nobleman, she exchanges places with her chambermaid. That same night she departs on a freighter to New Orleans, hoping to start a new life there and find a husband. During the journey, the ship is ambushed by pirates. Their rescuer, Captain Richard Warrington, is drawn to Marietta's beauty. In France, meanwhile, her uncle and her husband-to-be have started a search for the missing princess. When she is found in New Orleans and her true identity is revealed, Warrington cannot simply let go of the girl he has grown to love.
