A jolly comedy, adorned here and there with a few simple songs. Not all that much and actually unworthy of Ernst Lubitsch. However, it is quite funny to see Jeanette MacDonald and Maurice Chevalier at work. Therefore very suitable for five minutes of thoughtless entertainment on a rainy autumn afternoon.

Wonderful feel-good comedy. The subtle humour, characteristic of Lubitsch, is fully present. Another plus is the fact that the actors occasionally look into the camera and address the audience, so that the viewer is fully involved and - in a lighthearted way - stimulated self-reflection. A solid five stars for me.

pretty childish comedy about adultery and how quickly the suspicion is seen as evidence .

You can also see the old-fashioned women on a pedestal mentality here, which is exaggerated quite a bit.

And let's be honest neither of the ladies were really that attractive, it didn't really make me hot or cold.
