La Romance de Paris plot

Georges Gauthier is a factory worker who still lives at home with his mother and sister. He dreams of one day becoming a professional singer. His dreams seem to go up in smoke when his sister runs off with her boyfriend, leaving him to take care of his mother. Then he gets the chance to audition. They are impressed and launch it with great success under the name "Papillon". Fearing that his success will negatively affect his relationship with his mother, girlfriend and best friend Jules, Georges tries to keep his singing career a secret...but for how long?
