When Chris returns from the battle in Afghanistan, he has great difficulty finding his place in civil society. He feels displaced, lives forced out of his car and realizes that no one is waiting for an ex-serviceman who suffers from war syndrome. After the umpteenth rejection after a job application, he takes a job from the dangerous Jackie. She wants him to kill Andrew, the partner of her dead half-brother Tyler. After his death, he inherited Tyler's share in their family business and she doesn't like that.
