Out in the Dark plot
"Love knows no borders."
Nimr, a Palestinian psychology student from Ramallah, dreams of studying at the prestigious Princeton University in America. During one of his illegal nighttime escapades across the border in Tel Aviv, he meets Israeli lawyer Roy and promptly falls in love. As his relationship with Roy develops, Nimr is confronted with the harsh reality of gays in Palestine. His family rejects him because of his sexual orientation and his life is no longer secure in his own country.
