The Jailhouse plot
"Every old jail has a past"
The old prison in Colton, North Carolina, has been out of use for thirty years. In 1900, one of the guards lived on the first floor of the prison, and the dangerous prisoners were on the second floor. It's 2006 and Colton's Sheriff is offering Deputy Seth Delray and his family the chance to stay in jail for free as their own house is being remodeled. Then a fire breaks out in another prison in Colton, which prevents the inmates from staying there. The sheriff makes the decision to place the prisoners in the old prison. Soon, Seth's life changes drastically.
