Necronomicon plot
A triptych based on stories by HP Lovecraft: The Drowned (Christophe Gans) - in which a young man discovers that his grandfather has made a pact with the devil, The Cold (Shusuke Kaneko) - in which a journalist investigates several murders in neighborhood and meets a woman whose mother was a victim of a mad scientist - and Whispers (Brian Yuzna) - in which a police officer loses her colleague while pursuing a serial killer. In the frame story, HPLovecraft ends up with monks who possess the Necronomicon, the book of the dead.
