Strange series.

After the rather abrupt change in part 2, part 3 also partly focuses on a different audience. It's going to be a horror/comedy kind of thing.

At least, so far the intentions. There were some really lame jokes in it, but that's about it. Really bad and bad, often not funny at all and lousy gore.

Crazy series, one to quickly forget.

1*

What a fun franchise. This 3rd part is connected to the 2nd, although you can also view them separately. It is also a successful mix of horror and humor. Where the 2nd part mainly focuses on horror. Nice story, great effects and nice acting. It has a chill campy feel and kept me entertained for an hour and a half. Just like in part 2, you will also find references to Nightmare on Elm Street. The music is again by Paul Zaza and the location, just like in part 2, is Hamilton High School in the beautiful gothic-looking building. Lets eat.

The Prom Night series saw improvement with the sequel, but with the director duo of Ron Oliver and Peter R. Simpson the level is back to the beginning. It is nice to see that the tone is taken in a different direction, because this time we are in more comedic territory. The characters are stronger in this way and the kills are more fun in nature. There is certainly some entertainment to be had from the film, but the acting remains an absolute killer and the finale lacks a lot of spice. This third part often comes across as boring and is therefore not always easy to get through. That is exactly the criticism that the first part also suffered from, making the level more or less equivalent. The same low figure seems appropriate to me.
