Primal plot
"Evil Lies Within"
Anja and four friends head into the forests of Australia with anthropology student Dace to investigate rock art. Their enthusiasm quickly diminishes when Mel falls ill after a nightly swim. She develops a fever, begins to bleed and becomes confused. She slowly turns into a predatory creature. Mel's friends soon find out that they are the prey she is hunting. Before they can escape, Dace changes too. They face a tough choice: kill your friends or be killed by them. The only way to escape is to flee into a cave. Anja finds out too late what the meaning is of the paintings they came to examine.
