Freddy vs. Jason plot
"Evil will battle evil."
Freddy Krueger wants to escape from hell and decides to use Jason Voorhees by sending him to the town of Springwood and have some murders committed. The residents of Springwood are becoming increasingly afraid of these murders and with this fear Freddy sees an opportunity to return. But Jason, realizing now that Freddy has used him, is furious and a battle between the two killers begins...

Mediocre film about Freddy Kreuger using another maniacal killer to get back. In itself a nice fact in which the two greatest movie monsters from the 80s compete against each other. The effect is unfortunately a bit less with clichéd scares and an extremely meager story. Some of the special effects have been taken over by CGI, which makes it a bit less charming compared to the earlier films. The long final between the two is still worth it.

With the fake boobs, the botox in the leading lady's upper lip, the "fuck" and "fucking" words, and the cheap jump scares with overly loud noises, you immediately know that we are in the 2000s. The combination of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees seems a bit forced and the story is 'all over the place'. The kills are quite brutal at times, but the blood looks like red paint. The SFX also goes from pretty good to very fake! The fight between Freddy and Jason in the dream world doesn't come into its own, because nobody can die and especially Freddy is overpowered. The constant switching back and forth between Jason and Freddy at the end of the film is very confusing. It's unclear how Lori manages to get into Jason's memory, simply by being sedated with him with the anesthetic. The most entertaining part of the movie is the rave party in the cornfield, when Jason is set on fire and massacres the youths. Another fun moment is when Freddy is stabbed with his own arm. For me there is no need for a sequel, it's enough with milking these film series. I'd rather just watch the original 80s movies.
