Young Soul Rebels plot

England, summer 1977, the week of The Jubilee, the silver jubilee of the British Queen. On the eve of the anniversary, a black boy is cruising in the park, looking for sex. He is being killed. The only witness is the ghetto blaster he was carrying and which accidentally recorded what happened. The murder does not leave the black community untouched. The same goes for Chris and Caz, buddies since childhood and together the manager of the pirate channel 'Soul Patrol', with which they send the latest soul records into the London ether. When Chris gets a girlfriend, Caz feels abandoned and seeks refuge - and sex - with a punk boyfriend. Chris came into possession of the cassette from the ghetto blaster by accident and is hot on the heels of both the police and the killer. He needs Caz now more than ever. Things get completely out of hand at the 'Funk the Jubilee' concert in the park. Skins attack punks, but the killer's identity is also revealed...
