Twelve Thirty plot
"A sexual sonata about the two men in their lives"
Somewhere in Iowa, in the American Midwest, lives Jeff, a self-centered twenty-something who comes into the life of a broken family. The mother Vivien is a fur saleswoman and her ex-husband Martin has homosexual feelings. Their daughters are the feisty Mel and the somber Maura, her older sister. Jeff gets caught up in their lives in a very short time. He has a sexual relationship with Mel and then with Maura. Then he dives into bed with the mother. In the aftermath, a degree of intimacy between the family members and the father is restored.
