Quite nice at times, but after an hour I had seen it. DiCaprio is very strong again.

Pfff okay, the story about two poets with a lot of drama is not really my thing right now, but with a young DiCaprio in the lead role you still want to give it a chance. Speaking of surprise, DiCaprio here plays a gay (Arthur Rimbaud) who is in a relationship with an elderly poet Paul Verlaine (David Thewlis) who is married. Both can be seen naked, one more than the other. The story is never captivating given the many poetic dialogues and the complex relationship between the two poets. Pretty boring in design and many of the same kind of scenes that pass by. Another 'pleasant' surprise is the attractive shapely Romane Bohringer who plays Verlaine's young wife. At one point she lies naked in bed waiting for Verlaine to make love afterwards. Possibly the best scene in the movie. 3/10
