"Years ago he shattered his life. Now he's back to pick up the pieces."
When teenager Chuck 'Tiger' Warsaw (Patrick Swayze) injures his father during an argument, he flees to Miami where he becomes involved with drugs. Fifteen years later, Tiger returns to his hometown as a drug addict and hopes to settle the quarrel with his father. Partly because he fought in the Vietnam War, he does not remember much. Tiger, who is looked at with skewed eyes in the town, nevertheless receives support from his former school friend and his mother. However, an unbearable tension arises within the family and the utmost will be demanded of them.
