The Vintner's Luck plot
"A tale of love, wine and angels"
The film is set in the 19th century and is about the French winegrower Sobran Jodeau (Renier) and his beautiful wife Céleste (Castle-Hughes). Sobran aims to create the perfect vintage. Sobran is very unique. This is because he has an annual appointment with an angel, Xas (Ulliel). It seems that Xas longs for Sobran.
