The Perfect Mother plot

Elanie (Tyne Daly) is a meddling mother who completely ruins her son John (Louis Ferreira)'s marriage to Kathryn (Ione Skye). She still has a lot of influence on her weak son, who often takes her side in quarrels. When the first child is born, Elanie is furious because she doesn't like the naming. She hatches a diabolical plan to get rid of Kathryn.
