Quite a funny movie. A number of strong scenes, but at least as many weak scenes. Mostly very predictable, which was very unfortunate. With the twist to the multiple personality plot, it seemed like it was going to be a pretty good ending and it was, but the last one really shouldn't have happened. That went really too far and in the end the ending turned out to be very predictable. Too bad, because this ruins the aftermath of the film (which is largely determined by the feeling afterwards). Hence an insufficient. Also a lot of yelling and cursing. That's not a bad thing, but it was very well played. Sometimes I didn't know whether I was watching a serious movie or a farce.

Nice thriller. Good tension and a nice pace.

My first hunch as to who was to blame was wrong. And it took until a little over halfway before I got the right character on the grain. Although the whole thing turned out to be different than I thought. And that's nice, because I'm not so often surprised by a movie anymore.

A point of criticism is that the scenario actually makes it a bit easy in the end. I would have liked a more ingenious reason to explain the mysterious events. But hey, Identity is just strong.

And Amanda Peet was so beautiful in those days.
