Worryingly high average, say. Completely ridiculous story, extremely poor acting, visually it does not rise above the average Lifetime movie. Found out afterwards that it was filmed within 5 days, and it can be seen. Anyway, good news for the Perry fans, so they can probably expect another 5* masterpiece next month.
Incidentally, I rarely pay attention to them, but what a worthless extras, by the way; especially during the restaurant scene. As if they had never set foot on a movie set.

A Fall from Grace is the worst movie I've ever seen. It starts off quite interesting but goes down very quickly in level. So low that it almost goes beyond a B-show. The acting wasn't the best, but it drops to such a low level that it's okay. Okay because it's super bad. The story seems interesting but is actually sad. Sad because it is uninspired. Very quickly forgot about this pulp.

'A Fall from Grace' (2020) feels like a rushed rush job for B celebrity Tyler Perry to generate easy-to-use content for Netflix through his own film studio. Not much effort has been put into it. The dingy, dark filter and wooden acting that makes everything smell the soapiness of 'The Bold and the Beautiful' or 'Days of our Lives'. Also, the prison and court scenes (which would also be the center of a controversial case) seem to be shot in a gym with some folding chairs. With a cheesy script in which the flashback structure reveals how perfect housewife Grace (Crystal Fox) has suddenly become a murderess. Her lawyer Jasmine (Bresha Webb) takes on the criminal case reluctantly, but becomes intrigued by the darkness in her client. Or is Grace's best friend Sarah (Phylicia Rashad) deliberately hiding crucial information? Especially the dynamics between charismatic actresses like Chrystal Fox/Phylicia Rashad could have made for a decent film. Middle-aged black women are not so richly represented. 'A Fall from Grace' (2020) stands for serious cinema as a microwave meal whose ingredients you recognize by the eye, but at the first bite it tastes tougher and more tasteless than expected.
