The Egyptian plot
"To Nefer, shameless temptress of Babylon, he surrendered his parents' hope of immortality!"
Sinuhe, a foundling raised by an Egyptian doctor, befriends the soldier Horemheb during his training. Together they save the life of Pharaoh Akhenaton, which brings them to court. There, Horemheb will quickly rise in rank while Sinuhe will have to flee the country at some point. Yet they will see each other again and together determine the fate of Egypt.
