The Last Command plot
Grand Duke Sergius Alexander must decide the fate of a revolutionary actor and actress in the waning days of the Romanoff regime. He sends the actor to prison and the actress becomes his mistress. Of course she hates Sergius, but that is somewhat tempered when she discovers his patriotism. When the revolution arrives, she helps him to flee from the Bolsheviks.
