Ishun has a company in Kyoto and is married to Osan. Osan is approached by her brother because he needs money and because she knows that Ishun will not give it, she turns to his most reliable assistant Mohei. He is then caught embezzling money, but doesn't say a word about Osan while Ishun humiliates him. When Ishun suspects his wife and assistant of having an affair, the problems only get worse.
