The Captive Heart plot
June 1940. Thousands of British prisoners are sent to German concentration camps after the Battle of Dunkirk. One of them is Geoffrey Mitchell, a fugitive who has assumed the identity of a deceased officer. To remain in his role, Geoffrey must correspond with the deceased officer's wife.
