Svengali plot

Trilby O'Ferral is adored by Billy, a shy, sensitive young man, but ignores him. She falls under the spell of Svengali, the sinister hypnotist. She and Svengali have had success with their various gigs and Trilby is now almost out of touch with her former circle of friends. However, Billy's love is unconditional and he decides to face the dark force of Svengali himself.
