Sissi - Schicksalsjahre einer Kaiserin plot
Sissi enjoys her freedom in Hungary so much that she considers her time there a long vacation, until Count Andrassy declares her love for her. Horrified, she decides to return the next morning directly to Vienna and her husband, who is happy to finally see her again. Their happiness is short-lived, however, as Sissi soon becomes seriously ill and the doctor advises her to seek a warmer climate, again far away from her husband.

Will never be my movies. But I don't want to give it a 1.0. And not a 0.5 at all.
The films always look beautiful with those beautiful sets and very chic costumes. I want to believe that this was all great at the time. However, the film is monotonous and always the same. And, of course, a little whiny. I'm not a fan of the Sissi movies, but I'll never call them trash. 2.0.

Last part of the trilogy and actually also the least part in terms of story. The story again remains very sweet (this time quite a bit of drama present) and the images of the sets, settings, environments and decoration look beautiful again and the same applies of course also Romy Schneider who also played nicely. From a nostalgic point of view and out of respect for the unfortunately much too early deceased Romy Schneider (she had quite a dramatically short life), I still give the film a narrow enough.
