“Yo, Adrian, we did it... We did it.”

The intervening years have clearly provided new inspiration to the makers and Stallone himself. This sixth installment is well put together and Stallone looks admirably fit it. Due to Adrian's death Rocky also has to pick himself up again, and that clearly provides new inspiration to the writers.

The bond with his son is also well developed and Stallone and Ventimiglia have good chemistry. Young is also there again and that is always an added value. I only found Tarver a bit less as a boxer who eventually takes on Rocky. But Rocky and Stallone are certainly not worn out yet, although this is Rocky's farewell in the boxing ring. A dignified farewell.

Fortunately Rocky V was not the end of the beautiful series, this film is much better. I see Creed as just another series with Rocky as a character.

Always nice to see a Rocky movie again, but you should not take this part seriously, it is totally ridiculous that a 60 year old (blind in 1 eye and with a brain damage if I remember correctly) can play a game world champion at the top of his game... come on Sly, that's going too far.... too bad...
