Parfait Amour! plot
Dunkirk, a sober and mysterious port city, is ideal for romantic walks. A love blossoms between Frédérique and Christophe. He is 28, she 37. She is a somewhat classical and middle-class woman. At first she is surprised about their love, but in the end she believes in it. But then life takes over again. The truths come out and suddenly the man turns out to be different: selfish, tormented and a bit adrift. In other words: a young man. He says he can no longer stand that his life is 'determined' at an age when he should 'enjoy'. She suffers. Despite this, they continue their relationship, passionate and sick.
