Nju - Eine Unverstandene Frau plot

The attractive Nju (Elisabeth Bergner) should have every reason to be happy: her husband (Emil Jannings) adores her, they have a child together, and they don't lack money. However, Nju is dissatisfied and falls in love with a poet (Conrad Veidt). From then on, she spends every free minute with her lover. When her jealous husband tries to kill the poet, Nju leaves her own house and cuts off all contact with her husband and their child.
