Muge plot
Jung is an undertaker and works in the morgue. Due to tuberculosis and arthritis, he is dependent on drugs. Despite his illness, he considers cleaning and dressing the dead noble and beautiful work. Moreover, the bodies serve as models for the paintings he makes. Jung was born with a hunchback and left in an orphanage. He was adopted by a woman who put him away in an attic room and used him as a (child) slave for her clothing store. Her own child, Dong-bae, is younger than Jung. This one hates his body and would rather be a woman. Jung is attracted to him and feels sorry for him.
