Ai no Mukidashi plot
"Give it to me."
Yu is forced to confession daily by his father, a priest who has become deeply disenchanted with his secret love for a woman. Because he has absolutely nothing to confess, Yu is forced to sin. In search of ever more serious sins, he discovers the pleasure of voyeurism and becomes the king of photo voyeurs. Then he meets the love of his life and nothing is as it used to be, especially when the dangerous cult of Zero Church arrives on the scene.

If a movie can entertain me like this for 4 hours then it's something special, so good that I'd watch it again tonight. You would expect a fairly slow build-up at this time, but here it is just a cash register with the priest and his son. What a pleasure!

Nice comedy, but a bit too long. After half an hour I do know that our main character has cool moves to take pictures under skirts for example. Also, the battle scenes are very clumsy and the music choices surprisingly predictable (Beethoven's 7th..., really?). But otherwise in many ways unique (although the originality was a bit disappointing) and quite witty. 3.5 stars.

What a movie... The longer you watch, the more you wonder what the hell is going to happen next. And what I wondered even more: how in God's name does Sion Sono get it.
I enjoyed it from start to finish. Normally I don't like extremely long films, but with Love Exposure I wasn't bored for a minute.
