"Great Passion and Tragic Betrayal"
Quebec, 1952. Bishop Bilodeau visits the local prison to give confession to Simon, a former classmate, who was sentenced to life in prison for murder 40 years ago. Fellow inmates manage to lock the bishop up in the chapel, where they force him to watch a play they have performed. This is a reenactment of what happened 40 years ago. Together with his friend Vallier, with whom he was deeply in love, Simon then played in a school performance of a play about Saint Sebastian. Bilodeau, trying in vain to persuade Simon to go to seminary like him, was the jealous spectator of the two enamored actors...
