At the time of the Balkan War, a group of idealistic actors leaves for Sarajevo to perform a play. Long before they approach Sarajevo, however, they already find themselves in war situations that make progress very difficult. Meanwhile, an older director tries to make a European co-production, but the audience is only interested in major Hollywood films.
