"Two men loved her...she chose them both"

Ireland, circa 1900. Young Sarah ends up with her mother on Andrew Echlin's remote farm. A love affair develops between his son Frank and Sarah, but gradually she feels more and more attracted to the other son. When she is pregnant, Sarah does not know who the father of the child is.
