CrissCross plot
It is 1969. The divorce of his parents is difficult for 12-year-old Chris Cross. Both his mother and he do many jobs: mother as a barmaid at the local topless bar and as a waitress in a restaurant, Chris not only delivers newspapers but also collects fresh fish for the restaurant owner from a boat outside the harbor. Then Chris finds out that his mother also strips in the bar where she works. When he accidentally discovers that the daily supply of fresh fish contains cocaine, he steals a shipment to sell himself so that his mother doesn't have to strip anymore.
