Eddie Dodd is a worn-out lawyer who now specializes in defending drug dealers. Roger Baron, fresh out of law school, has followed Eddie's great business and wants to learn everything from him. Together with the positive Roger, Eddie takes a case of a Korean boy who, according to his mother, has been in jail for 8 years for a murder he didn't commit.
