Café Elektric plot

The Viennese café Cafe Elektric is buzzing with idlers, adventurous elderly gentlemen, hookers, petty criminals, innocent virgins, swindlers, and shrewd businessmen. All come there seeking tension and relaxation. Young Fredl, a dancer with a smooth chatter, meets the eccentric Erni Göttlinger, daughter of a wealthy merchant. She falls head over heels for the young man and breaks off the engagement with her worthy boyfriend. What she doesn't know is that Fredl is in fact a shady pickpocket.
