"No money. No connections. No degree."
Song Woo-Seok (Kang-ho Song) graduated from high school and eventually graduated from law school. He is now a lawyer in Busan, specializing in tax law. The only reason he became a lawyer is for the money. Unlike other lawyers around him, he hands over business cards to get clients. One day, his views are changed by student activist Jin-Woo. Because of this, Jin-Woo is horribly tortured and tried. Song Woo-Seok decides to defend Jin-Woo as his client.
