Bogowie plot
A biographical film about the life of Zbigniew Religa, who performed the first successful heart transplant in Poland in the 1980s. By removing the heart from a human body, the professor broke a moral, cultural and religious taboo. At the time, Zbigniew Religa and his team of young doctors were diametrically opposed to his mentors. They fought not only for professional equipment and financing, but also against an old-fashioned mentality.
