The Great Together plot

The Great Together explores the future of modernist neighborhoods in Europe during a time of acute housing shortage. Now that demolition is no longer popular, cities are reconsidering how the modernist legacy can be cared for, adapted, and possibly celebrated. The film title is a free translation of the French *Grand Ensemble*—a term that once symbolized collective ambition and architectural utopias. Today, these neighborhoods stand on the eve of something new.
