Silence Is a Falling Body plot

Filmmaker Agustina Comedi delves into the past of her father, who was in a relationship with a man for years until he married her mother. In Argentina in the eighties, homosexuality appears to be a big taboo and Jaime's true nature is obviously a family secret. Using the large collection of home videos that her father made as a hobby and through interviews with his old group of friends, a picture is painted of the time before Agustina's birth. A time marked by political activism, burgeoning gay emancipation, but also the rise of AIDS. The discovery of her father's 'secret', long after his fateful death, also casts her own life in a whole new light.
