Documentary about Venancio Mbande, a musician from Mozambique, and his instrument the mbila, an African xylophone. Timbila music - a classical music with an age-old tradition - is played not only in Mozambique, but also in The Hague. The Slagwerkgroep Den Haag has brought the music to the Netherlands and is recording a CD.
