An upstream journey from Amsterdam to the banks of the Nile. Meetings with people trying to conquer a place: squatters, travelers from country to city, from south to north. It is a story of outward emigration and inward alienation, but also a series of signs of courage for life. It is the obsession of the rooms, the streets, the places where people try to communicate their lives to other people and fight against the daily injustice of the world.
