Aids - Erbe der Kolonialzeit plot
Documentary about the origin of the HIV virus and its outbreak to pandemic proportions. The film shows how a team of world-renowned scientists, including the Fleming Dirk Teuwen, was able to trace the HIV virus, contrary to what was previously believed, to the jungle of Cameroon in 1908. They also discovered a direct link with the colonial history of Central Africa. Their findings shed new light on the spread of deadly viruses, including now Ebola.
