As the film progresses, you start to wonder if it's really that bad that the world is coming to an end. If that was Nolan's intention then I say: hats off, because in that case he couldn't have made a better film. Tenet contains a toxic combination of nonsense and clichés, which is poured over the viewer in endless dialogues, supported by pumping bass tones. The result is a kind of Mission Impossible 8 but with pretension, which makes it no longer just bad but completely unbearable. Reverse entropy should hold it all together, well forget it. I now understand that Nolan insisted on releasing this now, because in normal times no dog will look at this bad product. The only positive thing I can think of is that they haven't cast well-known actors, but unfortunately this isn't enough to give them points.

Poor work by Nolan. Beautiful sound design, pumping full of adrenaline. Movie starts off pretty smoothly and I'm quite willing to accept some far-fetched principles that keep the plot going, whether or not (far-fetched) based on things from physics. At some point, the film just goes off the rails. All far-fetched excuses to put down some creative action scenes (that we've all seen better), whether or not played backwards. With the most idiotic low point that fire becomes ice, and vice versa. Nobody understands why but an exploding car that then freezes looks cool of course. It would have something to do with everything happening the other way around in an inversion. That principle is only used when it suits Nolan. . SpongeBob has an episode in which there is an Opposite Day. The idea has been implemented more consistently there than in Tenet.

After two hours the cake is a bit gone and then we get another great action scene in which Nolan has once again conjured up his dull color filters. I understand the broad outline of the film, but what exactly happens here is not clear to me. In combination with the cardboard characters and Washington acting like a wooden klaas, this is really an insufficient.

Wasn't a big fan of Inception either, and this Nolan most resembles that. 2*

I wasn't expecting much from this and it was still disappointing. Unnecessary fiddling with even the characters giving up on explaining. Strangely enough, the film still largely consists of exposition! The idea of traveling in reverse in time has been worked out in such a shitty way that it actually immediately removes the urge to unravel things. Yes, because fire turns to ice and everything goes wrong and all that. Can someone explain to me what happens when someone farts? Or eat a sandwich? That's where it goes wrong. Also a huge facepalm when our hero (did he actually have a name?) would rather save a woman he barely knew than prevent WW3!!!! From that moment it was clear to me that investing in plot no longer bears fruit . I was bored and somewhere halfway through the movie I simply lost interest in following things. I didn't expect much from the plot, but the action scenes were also boring and confused. Fight scenes in which there is so much cutting that I don't think I have seen a single full punch. The final battle was also completely untrackable despite the fact that Nolan had given everyone a ribbon to indicate the time direction hahahaha. I barely saw an enemy and mainly watched forward and backward explosions and collapsing buildings played backwards. I honestly couldn't tell you who they were fighting... the soundtrack was really cool, but that's about all the good stuff with it. soulless movie
