Not the best part from al pacino, where in part 2 he is in top form I almost feel sorry for this scene in the hospital with kay was bad man man.. 7 years after this role he is back to playing the tiles of the roof in donnie brasco , anyway. Not a versatile actor.

Plus in part 3 is Andy Garcia who plays Sonny's son great. 3*

The level of part 1 was never matched afterwards, but the end result is one of the best trilogies that was made. A well-maintained, consistent film series that also manages to complete the story well. The story has been told and I'm not really looking forward to spin-offs, prequels or more sequels.

Michael Corleone seems to have it all, but is torn between his life as Godfather and life as a man who wants to do good for his family and society. Unfortunately, both worlds are connected and every choice has its price. Eventually he will lose and end up lonely because all the people he loved have died or disappeared from his life.

The movie actually starts a bit late from the attack on Corleone and his partners as he divides the proceeds from his sold hotels. The sign that not only gangster life is dangerous, but getting out has its price. There aren't really many highlights after that, although I did enjoy the first time Tony Corleone sings to his father, the song that takes him back to his love from Corleone who died after an attack. Moving... But the action scenes are also quite exciting.

The film is again craftsmanship. It's great that they have actually waited years for this 3rd part, so that it feels natural how everyone has grown older and we live in a different time. Recognizable by the change of popes. Sofia Coppola is sometimes shot for her acting in this film, she even received a prize for worst actress. She's certainly not a great talent, but you can't really call her bad either. It might stand out a little harder next to the many legendary actors.
