Watched it again last week. My favorite movie for years, I've lost count of how many times I've seen the movie.

I can't really name any negatives about the film, even after the umpteenth viewing.

Al Pacino plays a great role as Tony Montana, in my opinion his best role ever. The rest of the cast pales to his presence, only the character Alejandro Sosa still has a decent appearance. The film has a large number of scenes that you will never forget, even if you have only seen the film once.

The atmosphere is also incredibly good. The film is full of beautiful locations and images, but is also brutal at the same time.

The soundtrack is one of my all-time favorites, especially the part at the end of the film always makes a deep impression.

I am often hesitant to see films that are in my top ten because I am afraid that it will somehow disappoint, I never have that with this film. An absolute masterpiece by De Palma in my opinion, a film that I hope to see often.

Very ordinary, a top production that every film lover should have seen. Of course it should be noted that you have to like the genre. Someone who prefers romantic movies will be quite annoyed by the "romance" that Pacino shows towards his hard-won wife!

Our main character shows more "romantic" feelings with white powder and money, especially the latter in the beginning and the former especially in the last.

Still, we suspect that most film lovers will appreciate this film (if you just look at the ratings on IMDb (IMDb (8.3 / 668231)) and above (a 4.2 by almost 10,000 viewers) then that speaks for itself. !

Very ordinary, just a strong film with a strong story and great actors with a great director!

Our rating is a 9!

Scarface is primarily a tragic drama about a man who is blindly guided by his vision of the American Dream: first money, then power, then women. Tony Montana eventually gets it all done, but ends up succumbing to it. Nice to see that Tony still had a heart for innocent women and children (car scene).

Al Pacino's acting is truly excellent, and is perfectly at home in the midst of an excellent cast, including Pfeiffer.

For me personally, the climax (outburst of violence) at the end of the film could have lasted a little longer.

For me: 4*
