Race Street plot
"Raft at his roughest tangles with a dame at her deadliest!"
In San Francisco, ex-criminal Daniel J. "Dan" Gannin wants to live an honest life and opens a nightclub with the attractive widow Elaine as the main attraction. Not long after, Dan wants to marry Elaine. Then he hears that one of his old gang members has been murdered by the East Coast gang and he wants to avenge this. Dan returns to the underworld, despite the fact that Barney Runs, one of his old comrades who has since become a police lieutenant, advises him against this. Dan soon learns that he made a tragic mistake and should have listened to Elaine and Runs better.
