"Murder was the only human factor in his curriculum"
The "Professor" is a mobster who ends up in jail after killing someone who flirted with his sister. From prison, he begins advancing up the Camorra ladder. He has anyone who stands in his way or whose loyalty is questioned be killed. He even manages to replace the ruling "don" without ever leaving prison. When he finally escapes, he rises further in the ranks of the Cosa Nostra and even has important politicians in his power. Nothing seems to stop him until Police Chief Jervolino appears. This gangster movie is loosely based on the life of Raffaele Cutolo, one of Naples' most sadistic mob bosses.
